October Member of the Month – Andre Dorris

What is your fitness background?

I have been a gym addict since I was 15 years old.  26 years later I still have the addiction.

What fitness goals are you pursuing?

Continue to build muscle while maintaining low body fat percentage

What is your favorite workout?

Bench press, deadlift, squat, with cardio for full body conditioning.  I love lifting anything heavy.

What are some positive changes you’ve noticed because you have a consistent workout routine?

Everything from loads of energy, mental clarity, and of course I look pretty ok in a mirror.

What advice would you give to someone who is just starting a fitness program?

Stick with it.  It’s going to be difficult at first, but the dividends a healthy body pays is worth it.

What is the toughest obstacle to overcome in sticking to your exercise routine?

Finding the time in a busy life.

What is your favorite cheat meal?

Pizza and powdered donuts

What is something other members don’t know about you?

I have a black belt in Kung Fu
