Meet Kyle Parker our April Member of the Month!

Kyle has been a member with Chicago Sports and Fitness Club since April 2016.  Kyle is a Public Safety Dispatcher.  He became interested in fitness through his cousin and has been working out hard ever since.  You can find him here 5-6 times a week burning up the elliptical.

We had a chance to ask Kyle some questions about his fitness journey.

What long term goals are you hoping to achieve?

Good health and reach my goal weight of 205lbs.

What helps you stay motivated?

Desire to look and feel good.  I am a diabetic and I don’t want to do pills.

What is one piece of advice would you give to someone who is just starting their fitness journey?

Keep with it, results aren’t always quick.  Understand that it’s a process.

Do you have a certain playlist you listen to keep you motivated?  If so what is your go to song?

I listen to Power 105.1 (New York) in my IHeart Radio App.

What would you say is your biggest strength?

My drive to keep coming to the gym.  I’m here about 5-6 times a week. 

Weakness?

Lunges…. I hate them!!!

What are your top three essential exercises?

Arc Trainer, Chest Press, Squats

Which is your favorite exercise?

Arc Trainer, good cardio!!  Get’s my heart rate up.

Least favorite?

Stair Master, my legs feel like noodles when I’m done.

How has Chicago Sports & Fitness Club helped you on your fitness journey?

Staff is nice.  Mornings are like family.  Everyone is so encouraging.
