Jason Sutton is a combat veteran with twelve years of service. He joined the military October 17th,2001 and did three tours(2 in Iraq and 1 in Qatar) as a Military Policeman shortly after graduating from high school. He served as a non-commissioned officer(NCO) and team leader for five years.
In high school Jason has competed in many sports. He played basketball, football, competed in cross country and track & field shot put and disc throw. Jason was part of the first cross country team at JJC back in 2005. He was a two time runner under coach Rich McCarthy. From the 2005 season to the 2006 season he made big improvements in his performance. He went from being a 8-9 minute mile runner into a 6:30 a mile runner which earned him a chance to run in the NJCAA Division III championship in New York.
Jason is a fitness enthusiast. He received a personal training certificate from National Personal Training Institute (NPTI) in 2010. He holds a bachelors in Exercise Science from Lewis University. He’s been teaching group fitness for 8+ years
